Terms & Conditions of Rental

Privacy Policy: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) This privacy policy sets out how The Innellan Self-catering Cottages uses and protects any information that you give to us. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Only Paul & Katie Flynn (Owners, The Innellan Cottages) have access to your information and in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical and electronic procedures. We will only keep on file your personal information relevant to your booking and/or enquiry. Information held is likely to include your name, contact details, information about your booking and any additional information we may need to help meet your specific requirements. We do not hold any payment details relating to your Bank Account or credit/debit cards. We have a system of retention periods in place to ensure that your information is only stored whilst it is required for the relevant purposes or to meet legal requirements. Where your information is no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of or deleted in a secure manner. We will never sell, distribute, lease or share the personal information you provide us in person, through emails, forms, or through our website. We will not disclose your information to any other entity without your permission unless it is to meet legal requirements. You can contact us at any time if you would like to check what information we hold on you. If you would like your details removed from our database please let us know and we will do so unless it must be kept for legal purposes.
1) To confirm the booking of the Innellan Cottages (The Snug or Coach House Cottage) (the hired premises): • A non-refundable holiday deposit of £100/week is due at the time of booking. Reservations can only be held for 7 days without receipt of deposit. The booking is   not binding until it is confirmed in writing (letter or email) by the Owners of the hired premises. • The balance of payment must be received 4 weeks before the start date of the holiday. • If the balance of payment is not received 4 weeks before the start date of the holiday, the reservation shall be presumed cancelled, and no deposit shall be returned. • If the start date of the holiday is less than 4 weeks after the date of booking, the full balance will be due within 7 days. • If the Hirer cancels the reservation more than 4 weeks before the holiday start date, the deposit is non-refundable. If the Hirer cancels the reservation less than 4 weeks before the holiday start date, the deposit is non-refundable; however, the balance will be refunded in full if the hired premises is able to be re-let. If the hired premises is not re-let, the balance will not be refunded. • Please note: It is strongly recommended that guests purchase some form of cancellation insurance. It is your own responsibility to see that you are covered. 2) The Owners reserve the right to decline to hand over properties to any person or persons who, in their opinion, is not suitable to take charge. In such cases, hire charges (less the deposit) shall be refunded and the liability of the owner shall cease. 3) If the Owners are prevented, because of circumstances outwith their control (e.g. fire damage, drought or the interruption of utility supplies), from putting their property at the disposal of the Hirer, the hire charges shall be refunded in full but the Hirer shall have no further claim against the Owners. 4) The Hirer shall allow the Owners or their agents or employees entry to the hired premises for all reasonable purposes. 5) The hired premises shall be used solely as holiday accommodation and the Hirer shall not sub-let the hired premises or any part of the hired premises or any equipment from the hired premises. 6) Under no circumstances may the number of people occupying the hired premises exceed the number stated in the booking confirmation unless agreed in advance and confirmed in writing by the Owners. 7) Unless agreed in advance, holiday lets commence at 3pm on the holiday start day and end at 10am on the holiday end day, at which time the cottage must be vacated. 8) Prices quoted include bed linen, towels, tea-towels, gas and electricity. 9) The cottage is strictly non-smoking (even on the balcony). 10) There is no car parking at the cottages as Trinity Lane is very narrow. However, there is a large layby (with streetlighting) at the end of the lane, only approx 20m from the cottage. 11) PETS: up to 2 dogs per cottage may be permitted by prior arrangement. Pets must not be left unattended in the hired premises. Under no circumstances are pets allowed on beds or furniture. If significant extra cleaning/washing of linen is required then the costs will be passed to the hirer. 12) WI-FI is available to guests free at The Innellan Cottages. Due to our location, WI-FI can sometimes be temperamental so please be patient with it. The WI-FI is unlimited but there is a ‘fair usage policy’ in place – so excessive usage may result in the providers (SSE and Plusnet) disabling the broadband. Please be aware of their terms & conditions.
