BOOKING• The Contract for a short-term holiday rental will be between the Owners of The Innellan Cottages (referred to as “us” or “we”) and the lead hirer who makes the booking (referred to as the “hirer” or “you”). • To confirm the booking of the Innellan Cottages (The Snug or Coach House Cottage) the lead hirer must be 18 years of age or older and provide their full name, address and telephone number. • A deposit of £100 is due at the time of booking. Reservations can only be held for 7 days without receipt of deposit. The booking is not binding until it is confirmed in writing by us. • The balance of payment must be received 4 weeks before the start date of the holiday (we will send you a reminder). • If the balance of payment is not received 4 weeks before the start date of the holiday (and within 3 days of our reminder being sent) the reservation shall be presumed cancelled, and the deposit will be returned minus a £25 administration fee. • If the start date of the holiday is less than 4 weeks after the date of booking, the full balance will be due within 7 days. CANCELLATION• If the hirer cancels the reservation more than 4 weeks before the holiday start date, we will refund the deposit minus a £25/week administration fee. • If the hirer cancels the reservation less than 4 weeks before the holiday start date and we are able to relet the booked holiday dates, we will refund the hire charges already paid minus a £25 administration fee (please note, if the booked holiday dates are re-let for a lesser amount then only the lesser amount will be refunded). If we cannot relet the booked holiday dates, we will refund the hire charges already paid minus a fee of £20/night. • If the hirer cancels the reservation less than 1 week before the holiday start date, and we are able to relet the booked holiday dates, we will refund the hire charges already paid minus a £25 administration fee (please note, if the booked dates are re-let for a lesser amount then only the lesser amount will be refunded). If we cannot relet the booked holiday dates, we will offer a refund of £5/night (being the utility and cleaning costs we won’t incur). • If we are prevented, because of circumstances outwith our control (e.g. fire damage, drought or the interruption of utility supplies), from putting our property at the disposal of the Hirer, the hire charges shall be refunded in full but the hirer shall have no further claim against us. • Please note: It is strongly recommended that the hirer purchases cancellation insurance. It is your own responsibility to see that you are covered. TERMS OF USE• Unless agreed in advance, holiday lets commence at 4pm on the holiday start day and end at 11am on the holiday end day, at which time the cottage must be vacated. • Innellan is a quiet, peaceful village and we would ask that Guests respect this and the privacy and peace of our neighbours. • Prices quoted include bed linen, towels, tea-towels, gas and electricity. • There is a small car parking space for Coach House Cottage for one car – if using this space, please ensure you do not block access to The Snug.
