Coach House Cottage is situated next door to The Snug, tucked up a quiet lane moments
from the beach.
Master Bedroom
The large master bedroom is downstairs and has a king sized bed. This room has a
wonderful arched window which, many years ago, was the coach house door.
Bathroom
Next door to the master bedroom is the bright, newly fitted bathroom. There is a bath
with over-bath electric shower.
.
Coach House Cottage
This cottage was originally the coach
house for the large mansion on the
shore front. There are still many
original features dotted around, such
as the cast iron hay feeder for the
horses and the large arched window
which once allowed access for the
coaches.
Parking: There is a small parking space at Coach House Cottage, suitable for
one small car. If you have a large vehicle, or more than one vehicle, there is
a large well-lit layby at the foot of Trinity Lane that guests are welcome to
use (approx 20 metres from the cottage).
Kitchen/Diner
Also downstairs is the kitchen/diner. This is a bright and welcoming room with a
window by the dining table, looking out over the garden.
The table has seating for 4 people, there’s an electric oven and hob,
fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and
Nespresso coffee maker.
Twin Bedroom
Upstairs is the second bedroom, which is a bright twin room with two single beds.
There is a window to the front with views over the lane to the hills. Travel cot,
stair gate and high-chair available on request.
Living Room
Next to the twin bedroom is the living room which has a couple of comfy sofas,
hi-fi, smart TV and DVD player. With patio style doors and a large window, it’s a
bright room with views over the nearby tennis courts to the hills.
Garden
Accessed from the rear hallway, the garden is a secluded and fully fenced little
space where you can enjoy a quiet drink, a peaceful moment, and hopefully see
one of the red squirrels who are regular visitors. There’s a big shed that you are
welcome to use - it’s ideal for bikes (f you’d like to lock the shed, please bring
your own padlock).
